I really only wanted this album for a single of Rod Stewart's that has failed to appear on any compilation I have seen. It's called, "Aint Love A Bitch". This album, Blondes Have More Fun arrived in the middle of Disco Mayhem in and though paying tribute, Rod did not pander to that musical style/5().

Actually, despite the really bad cover, in my opinion Blondes Have More Fun is one of my favourite Rod Stewart albums. This isn't very much said, but "Ain't Love a Bitch", "The Best Days of My Life", "Last Summer" and, YES, "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy" are all high quality songs in my opinion.

Blondes Have More Fun is Rod Stewart 's ninth album, released in November As was the popular musical trend at the time, it is Stewart's foray into disco music. The album was commercially successful, reaching number 3 in the UK and number 1 in the US, but was critically divisive.

" Blondes (Have More Fun) " is a song written by Rod Stewart and Jim Cregan that was originally released as the title track of Stewart's album Blondes Have More Fun. In some countries it was released as the third single off the album, following " Da Ya Think I'm Sexy? " and " Ain't Love a Bitch ".

If blondes have as much fun as Rod Stewart's new record insists they do, no wonder they're exhausted when they stagger into the studio. Even so, Stewart's current anemia is a hard thing to understand. Never before has he attacked such uncertain material with so little gusto or levity—for once, his trademarked "Whooo!" carries no conviction.
